Christmas Tree Ornament

Use up all those left over Christmas fabric scraps and create these fun little Dimensional Tree Ornaments! These small trees can be used as ornaments or attach to gifts for a decorative and personal touch.

Tools Needed:
Materials Needed:
- Fabric for Tree (small amount)
- Fabric for Trunk (small amount)
- Fiberfill (small amount)
- Matching Thread
- Hot Glue Gun & Glue Sticks
- 8" Cord for Hanger
- Optional: Trims such as ribbon, bells, charms

- For each tree, cut from tree fabric: One - 3 1/2" Square; One - 3" Square; One - 2 3/4 Square.
- For Trunk cut: One - 6" x 1 1/4" Rectangle.
- With wrong sides together, fold squares into triangles. Insert a very small amount of fiberfill into triangle. Pin, carefully sew 1/4" from edge. Repeat for all squares.
- Using your OLFA Rotary Cutter with Scallop Blade, trim edge of each triangle being careful not to cut your stitching.
- For trunk: fold right sides together. Sew a 1/4" seam on each side. Turn right side out. Press.
- Hot glue triangles together to form a tree. Glue trunk to back of large triangle.
- Make loop in cord and glue to top of tree.
- Optional: Trim trees as desired, such as adding a decorative little bow, bell, or star.
