Postcards - Flying Geese

Use one of your favorite quilt patterns, Flying Geese, to create these simple yet creative postcards. Add a bit of fun to your correspondence!

Tools Needed:
Materials Needed:
- Variety of coordinating scrapbook papers
- Glue Stick
- Various charms

- For the postcard base, cut a 6-1⁄2" x 4-1⁄2" rectangle.
- For the postcard front, cut: a 4" square cut into 4 equal triangles for the Flying Geese; 1" by 4-1⁄2" strip for front decoration; 4" x 2" rectangle for address card.
- For the postcard back, cut: a 4 1⁄2" x 4 1⁄2" square; 4" x 1" strip.
- Glue the four triangles along the edge of the postcard base to create the Flying Geese pattern.
- Glue the 1" by 4-1⁄2" strip near the right edge.
- Glue the 4" x 2" rectangle on the lower right.
- Back: Glue the 4-1⁄2" square at an angle for your writing area. Cut to fit. Cut the 6" x 1" strip in half, and glue to the upper left and lower right edge of writing area. Cut to fit.
- Add charms, ribbon, lettering as desired.
