Fabric Fortune Cookies

Create these fun, no-sew fortune cookies for your next party favor. Use up all of your beautiful fabric scraps to create a bowl full!

Skill Level: Beginner

Time to Complete: 1 Hour

Tools Needed:

Materials Needed:

Fabric scraps at least 5" x 5" square
Chop Sticks or Pencils
Steam-a-Seam or Heat-n-Bond Lite
Fabric Glue
Aleene's Stiffen Quick

Instructions

Layer fusible web between 2 pieces of fabric, wrong sides together, and fuse.
Using the OLFA Circle Cutter, cut a 3" circle for each cookie.
Fold the circle in half and place a dab of fabric glue between the layers to hold.
Place paper fortune slip into cookie at this time to make it easier to insert.
Bend cookie in the middle to form fortune cookie shape. Spray lightly with fabric stiffener.
Insert chop sticks or pencils in ourter ends to hold shape. Allow to dry. You can speed up the drying time with a blow dryer.
