Fabric Fortune Cookies

Create these fun, no-sew fortune cookies for your next party favor. Use up all of your beautiful fabric scraps to create a bowl full!

Tools Needed:
Materials Needed:
- Fabric scraps at least 5" x 5" square
- Chop Sticks or Pencils
- Steam-a-Seam or Heat-n-Bond Lite
- Fabric Glue
- Aleene's Stiffen Quick

- Layer fusible web between 2 pieces of fabric, wrong sides together, and fuse.
- Using the OLFA Circle Cutter, cut a 3" circle for each cookie.
- Fold the circle in half and place a dab of fabric glue between the layers to hold.
- Place paper fortune slip into cookie at this time to make it easier to insert.
- Bend cookie in the middle to form fortune cookie shape. Spray lightly with fabric stiffener.
- Insert chop sticks or pencils in ourter ends to hold shape. Allow to dry. You can speed up the drying time with a blow dryer.
